Dr Avishek Dey
As an committed experimental materials chemist I strive to develop technologies, that are compatible for industry through deployment of intellectual property. I have nine years of experience on research and development of Materials and Technologies with an ambition to address Global challenges During this time, I worked at different Academic and central research facilities, notably NASA AMES Research Center, Stanford Synchrotron (SSRL), UK National XPS Facility (Harwell). During this 9 years I have created a network with academics and researchers form India, Brazil, Columbia, Turkey, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany.
As a professional Materials Scientist, the main goal is to develop sustainable solutions to address the global challenges using nanotechnology as the tool. My research vision is based on three En's i.e. to utilize nanotechnology for energy, environment and enterprise (N3En). I strive to excel in understanding the scientific processes that are happening at the atomic scale in a variety of environments. I use a combination of novel approaches and state of the art technologies to improve the efficiency of these fundamental interactions.
